Sundown is getting so early. By the time we got out of the house, the light was already fading. But evening photography is in some ways more fun. The wind has usually died down, and it feels kind of festive, especially around Christmas.
First Pacific Heights and some grand houses, not to mention grand trees. And then on to moonrise over Valencia street in the Mission District—always interesting. Ice cream cone bike racks outside an ice cream store. A delivery guy on a motorbike figuring out his next stop. There’s a broad bike lane down the middle of the busy street, and all manner of bikes come streaming by, including some outlandishly decorated with lights. And houses and businesses take on a different look.
And finally, Smittens! A welcome last stop.
